**Overview**

McKesson, a Fortune 10 healthcare leader, seeks a dedicated Senior Patient Support Specialist to join our Patient Support Programs team in Kingston, ON (Gananoque location). In this senior individual contributor position, you'll be instrumental in enhancing patient experiences while supporting healthcare providers and internal teams throughout comprehensive patient care journeys. **Responsibilities**

• Act as the primary liaison for patients, caregivers, and healthcare provider offices across designated patient support initiatives
• Facilitate comprehensive patient enrollment processes, ensuring documentation accuracy, completeness, and timely submission
• Resolve intricate patient access challenges including coverage verification, reimbursement documentation, and coordinated follow-ups
• Deliver clear, professional communication to patients and providers regarding program workflows, timelines, and procedural steps
• Maintain detailed patient records and case documentation in internal systems supporting audit, compliance, and reporting requirements
• Partner across departments with pharmacy operations, program teams, and reimbursement partners to ensure seamless patient experiences
• Escalate complex or sensitive situations appropriately while exercising sound judgment within established guidelines
• Provide informal mentorship and knowledge-sharing to colleagues, contributing to team success and ongoing improvements
• Consistently deliver patient-focused service while upholding confidentiality standards and regulatory compliance

**Requirements**

• Minimum 5+ years experience in healthcare customer service, patient support, patient services, or medical program coordination, OR equivalent education and relevant experience combination
• Strong problem-solving abilities and sound judgment for handling complex patient access issues
• Excellent communication skills for professional interactions with diverse stakeholders
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in fast-paced healthcare environments
🕐 Schedule
Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM (full-time)
